It's probably ok then, cause in a hover it seems smooth as silk.

It's waggin it's tail a bit, even with the gain turned way down. I'm hoping it's the cheapo servo on the TR and not the cheapo gyro. Hopefully the good stuff shows tomorrow and I can get that figured out.

Well, just flew this thing through the fence. Not sure what happened, got a little sideways and it just kept going. I tried punching out but I'm not getting a great climb out of this thing. Guess I'll have to check the gear ratio.

Trashed blades, main shaft, feathering shaft and gear set.

Re: Esky Belt CP Carbon Bling Version

Finally got a chance to get this thing back in the air. Put some Futaba digital servos in it and what a difference over the HS-55's that I tried before. Now it actually responds to stick inputs.

Also found out that with the Electric heli's your throttle curve for the Idle up's should basically be 100%across the board, huge difference there also.

Flew two packs through it in the back yard with 15mph gusty winds and I've got to say I really , really like the heli. My skills are still a bit dusty so I didn't attempt anything crazy with it, just pretty much hover and slow forward flight. From what I've seen so far with it, I'm pretty darn happy.

I'll get some vid if I ever get it out to the field. You may want to reduce your expo a bit if it's sluggish but then over reactes.

Re: Esky Belt CP Carbon Bling Version

I give up on electrics, I may try a Mini Titan because a couple people seem to be having great luck with them, but this thing is a done deal for me.

Took it to the local park. It hovers great, thats about it.

Did one flip with it and a link popped off the swash for aileron control. Not a lot of damage, just a feathering shaft and broken landing gear, tail tube support.

Anybody want it? $180 with the motor.

That stinks. Are you sure there wasn't any binding?

Nope, no binding. It wasn't a bad crash, got the parts already to fix it. I just want a Mini Titan instead.
