Howdy onfiregrafx,

That certainly is a big beautiful baby you have there - makes my lil old third scale look like a midget!

Making me think about doing the same with my BUSA plans

I know how much work it takes to build one of these from scratch - took me 3 years average about 15 hours a week to build mine - best reward of all is when your efforts all come together at that nervous first flight and it flys like a dream and you
land it perfectly - Oh Yeeess .. definitely the most enjoyable experience!

I have buy recently a Piper cub 1/3, and he seem a ''Balsa Usa'' , the engine is a Zenoah G620 , 62 cc , but the fuel tank is a old 16 oz oïl can :-( .

I would think 20 to 24 oz would give plenty of flight time.

Tell me more about the kits. Super Cub or J3 ?
Do you live right in Grand Junction? I'm planning a trip out this fall to fly with Alvie (Riverfront) , and Iv'e been telling him I want to build a 1/3 scale super cub kit. I have built 2 full scale from kits at the airport in Parowan Utah, my job was to build the wings, help with the fuselage and then I covered/painted the entire airplane. I think it would be a rip to do a 1/3 scale in the Stits Poly Fiber fabric

I have Don's 1/3 scale Cub kit and it is a J3. I am off and running with the build. Build threads are on GSN and RCSB.
