It was a great turn out at the judging school in Richland this past weekend. We had a total of 16 dedicated students that will now be able to not only be the best judges they can be but know how to fly there sequence better. The weather on Sunday was just perfect, well we could have used some wind to show wind correction, and I believe that it helped the students apply the information that was taught the day before. Thank you all that took the time to attend either of the two judging schools here in the NW. And thank you Brian and Keith for the continued dedication to us all here in the NW region.
Now onto the Grizzly bear! Less than two weeks, I better get out and practice some!
See new information on the IMAC web site about the event.

Thanks Michael & Keith for schooling us. Thanks for making the trip and the kind words about the club.
Sorry I had to take off early but life is getting the best of me right now.

Might try posting in the Engine Classifieds, a lot of folks use Vess balance rings and may have washers.

Grizzly Bear

Sanctioning - done.

Unknowns - ordered.

Good weather - ordered.

Trophies - in process.

Alright, all you sleepers out there that don't bother signing up get your butts over here:

http://www.mini-iac.com/Home/Control...4/default.aspx

and get signed up. It makes my job setting up the judging matrix much easier.

First time Basic guys - no charge for landing fees. IMAC card holders $35, non-card holders $45 (difference will go to Mike V.)

If you wish to show up early you are welcome to do so. Call me @ 509-303-8350 for a gate code. If you are early to the party PLEASE park perpendicular to the main flight line. (.5 points per 5 degrees will be deducted for those who can't park straight) I will be showing up Thursday evening after work.

Breakfast and lunch will be available Saturday and Sunday.

If you are interested in having a semi-potluck Saturday night we can do something similar to the Dusters contest - everybody pitch in $5 for the meat and bring a side dish, I will cook something up on the smoker. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK IF INTERESTED.

Go practice, put your big boy pants on, and let's get this season started.

Clark, I will give you a call this week-end. Nathan and I would like to head down Friday morning and fly the field to get the feel. Now that I am competing with "Super Sig" and his brother from another mother iout of Idaho, I will need some practice.

Hi Clark, you will notice my name falling off the pre-registration. I may still make it pending a Horizon Hobby order showing up and getting a quick test flight in at some point during the week. (Probably a slim chance)If I can't get a plane ready, I will try to make it over and help out where I can. I could bore you with a handful of lame excuses but wanted to wish everyone the best if I am not able to make it.

Unfortunately, I am going to have to miss my first "Polar Bear" in 6 years . Too much extra curricular crappolla going on. I'm going to miss everybody! Hope you have awesome weather this weekend!

Hey Chris, believe it not that's the same number for me too. In fact I miss you guys so much I just ordered a new Carden Pro kit so I will be back. Not this year but next year at some point. My buddy Darren Bowman ordered one to, we are going to build them together and go to a few contests again. Looking forward to it!
