They sure would. Might even save a little weight too. I did it so I could mount the holder to the top of the tunnel. This way it is only a 23mm drop from the CL of the engine to the CL of the canister. Getting the header made now and it's almost a straight shot.

Thanks. B&E graphics, it's one of their standard packages. Out of all my planes I like the looks of my edge the best! Not to mention it flys great too.

I like the way your rear exhaust/pipe is looking good. Makes me think I should have went rear exhaust on my EF 91" I am building.

Another question for you out there. The photo I have of the servo arms. They are 1.25" would these be a good choice for this plane? Not a hard core 3D flyer yet.

you should be using 1.5" from the other "Pilot RC 30% edge" thread.

1.5" arms, 4" offset for rudder, Savox 1256TG's are excellent choice. I used them on all of my surfaces except for the rudder I went overkill with the 2270.

I didnt like the stock tailwheel so I went with the older Pilot style. My cooling was fine without making anymore holes in the cowl, so what you have made there is more than sufficient. Granted I wasnt running a can though. Make sure you go to the Pilot-rc forums here and get the corrected CG if they havent corrected it in the manual yet. You will run into an issue where the elevators rub at full deflection on the pull-pull wires. Myself and others havent had any issues with that so far and just ran it as it is. Short of moving the rudder horn, you likely wont be able to come up with a fix.

boggintuff, thanks for the great info and heads up on CG. Just about finished the breeze way for the wife. So out to the shop to get some more done on the build. Centered the elevators and mounted them.

Had to make some small ajustments to the elevator slots to make sure the center line is correct. Learned this on flyinggiants.

Another ???????? Should I run a two line fuel system or a three line with a tee in it? Is there a advantage having one verse the other. I have the fuel dot installed and wondering about the fuel line.

You will hear both sides but you are running a tank set up for 3 lines, why not go with it.
For the record I prefer 3 line.

No need for a third line with a tee, that tank has a dedicated fill. I have 2 of those tanks, they work great.

Nice work so far,I like that flight metal inside.

Thanks Jaybird. I have checked out the photos you have put out there of your bird, and I’m applying some of the techniques to this build. Thanks Much!
