Thanks...
In the bottom right of each post there are three "buttons" - Quote, "+, and QR

Go to each post you want to quote in the order you want them to show up and hit the "+ button. On the last post you want to quote, just hit the Quote button and a reply box will show up with each quote in it.

Easy

Hi All.
Worked on the left wing tonight for a couple hours. Had to re-do something, see if you guys can guess what is is from looking at the pictures.. Anyway, all 3/8 gusset plates and shear webbing is done. I'm going to take a break from the wings now, and work on the stabs til my buddy gets back.

only thing i can see, and it's not a big deal is that your gusset plate grain is not running from corner to corner.
i didn't even put them in on my wings,IMO with the wing sheeting does more in holding the wing than the gusset plates do.
but who know's every little bit helps.

Tonight, I got about 3 hours in on the stab & elevator. I changed my technique just a bit. I put a 2x4' ceiling tile under the parts, and it's easier to insert the 'T" pins now. Nothing's glued yet, can't quite bring myself to do it :-)
I'll try & finish up cutting all the elevator pieces tomorrow afternoon/evening. I'm going flying tomorrow. Going to be 66 & 5, in December mind you. I think It would be a crime to stay home...

That solid center piece in the stab is 3/8" BALSA, right? Not a ply or hardwood...

Oh boy... Colton, I'm sorry. I am not going to make it tomorrow...
Kristen has someone she works with coming over to make doll clothes with Em & Kate, and she's bringing her dad. I promised Kristen 2 months ago I would entertain him all day tomorrow. Unfortunatly they are not getting here early enough for me to make the 2 hour drive to Lineville & have any decent amount of time to fly. They aren't getting here til 10:00. It would be noon before I could get there, and I'll have to leave by 3 or so. Three hours just isn't enough time to make it worthwhile. :-(
I'm off Monday & Tuesday. Any chance of some of us getting back to Lineville then? (I know it's kinda soon)

Please, don't put anyone out, or go to a bunch of trouble for me. Talk it over with Roger tomorrow, & see if he's up to it and text me or something...

I'm going flying tomorrow, It'll just be Alabaster cause it's only 30 minutes away...
I'm taking the girls dad with me.
