i am not at home to give you a good number but i would guess the lip on the spinner is .06 and the receiving/matting lip on the back plate is .10 or .12.

I GOT MINE FROM DA (DESERT AIRCRAFT). Call DA and ask for a 5inch lightened TruTurn alum spinner back plate.

Mej 27x12th da120. 6500 RPM on ground. I like how snappy it is.

EDIT---DOH--27x12th not 27x10th

I got the vess 28b carbon and the da120 almost rips it. Big difference in the responsiveness down low...quicker than the wood version.

Just wondering, does Mejzlik make a 28x10TH prop? I know they recently released the 28x10 EVO, but I dont see a 28x10TH on their site. Thanks!

I can't compare the Mej 2-bladers but the Vess 28B Stealth is a great prop for the DA120....certainly much louder than a 3-blade, but doesn't make your ears bleed .

For IMAC I'm settled on the Beila 26x10 3-blade...quiet and still pulls strong. For freestyle/3D a quick change to the Vess Stealth. On my 3DHS Extra the CG is just about perfectly neutral with the Vess and just a smidge further forward with the Beila...perfect for precision.

cmala3 I was look at the pictures of your tanks and I see that you still have the original pour spout caps on each tank. Not sure if they bug you or not as they did me but Home Depot (and I asume Lowes) sells gas caps for lawn movers that fit those cans perfect.

I just got a Futaba 9157 for my rudder, on an 8fg can I get the throw I need with a 1.5" arm? Or will I need 2" even at 140% travel?

I am using a Smart Fly EQ6 also.

1.5" is enough for me... Devin used those servos and smartfly in my 104 for the XFC last year and used the 1.5" arms also... got plenty of throw for us.

Sorry if you answered this before. So you run Push / Pull? With the DA120 hanging off the front?

Mine is getting set up push/pull, two servos in the tail with a DA-120 on stock mufflers. Also won't have the third battery for ignition on the motorbox. There's more than enough room to place the two lipos and power expander to get the cg right. I'll also have a Tru Turn spinner with a lightened backplate. A little heavier than the stock carbon.

mine is pull-pull. 3" double arm. Joe's is push-pull... preference. I like things a little more forward than Joe.
