Re: Winter Project Update!

I am running out of time for all the planes I have to build. I have some of the parts for my new 100cc yak 54 that I designed. I am waiting on the parts for 2 of my 150cc yaks. I have to finish up the 100cc and write the instructions. I also need to do the instructions for the 150cc and build one for a pilot we are sponsering and help build a second for annother pilot to take to clover creek and the tucon aerobatic shootout. I need to have the 100cc and the first 150cc done before Joe Nall.

Here are some pics of the 150cc cowl plug and the 100cc fuse parts.

Joe - I have one of those leaning next to my desk - I think you have inspired me to add that to my winter build list - should take less time to finish than the two 33% which are sitting in my shop mostly built.

How does your Parkzone Sukhoi fly. Mine flies like crap. Got to hold lots of up elevator and it flies like crap. Any secret?

you have to move the battery back about 1/2 or more. I cut the slot in the foam so this could happen. Mine flys excellent now. I did see someone put side force generators on there and made knife edge flight much better.

gws 5043 prop with wood adapter from radical rc.
its like night and day,
and if you really wana get crazy you can extend the battery wire so the battery will go over the middle cooling hole. then it will fly inverted just as good as upright and it will lock in and climb in knife edge.
lots of fun and you can fly it anywhere.

I moved the pack back a bit, changed off to the GWS prop without the rubber spinner, and cut that scale looking foam airduct off the bottom. The plane flew awesome.
