Soft landing gear on Peak models SU26m?
Just finished the SU26m from Peak models. Great flyer but the landing gear is as soft as bubble gum.
Just taxiing out to the run way, it bowed out enough to hit the prop on the ground. Any one have any ideas as to how I can stiffen it up a bit? I`m on vacation this week and would really like to get some time in the air! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Run a wire from one side to the other with a small come along in the middle. I think that is what they call them. It is that thing that you put in the middle and tighting it make the wire tighter. You can get them in kinds of size's from any hard wear store, Ace is the place. It has worked for me and I am very hard on landing gear. I hope this help have fun and enjoy. Eric
