Hot off the CNC machine from Fancy Foam this year is the Osiris and the Seminoll monoplanes.

The bi-plane craze in foamies has paused temporarily for some awesome monoplane action. The Osiris, designed by Andrew Jesky and the Seminoll by Jason Noll are available from Fancy Foam Models. These just add to the list of world class models from FF. This list goes on and on from Gernot, AJ, Jason Noll and many others who all design for Fancy Foam. Both airplanes come in around 4.2-4.6 oz RTF with the milled versions.

Due to your email last night I purchased one of these planes yesterday, and had to sit through the "Did you REALLY need that speech" from my wife... so THANK YOU.

This article shows just how unique the Foam airplane industry is. Think about it for a minute. in most cases, the airframe you see one of the pro's win with on Saturday, you can purchase on Monday, and have the EXACT SAME MILLED MASTERPIECE that he flew. Outfit that airframe with the suggested gear, and you have a world class competition airframe.

I think there may be one bad side to this though..
with the availability of the Pro airframes... there is only one excuse left if your flying isn't so great...... YOU!

I mean.. ya gotta keep up with the times...

Guys, these are both phenomenal airplanes. I had the privilage of flying the Osiris in the Kansas E-Fly F3P contest a couple weeks ago, and it's just plain sweet. It took about 30 seconds to totally connect with the plane. It really makes flying the sequences effortless. Thanks Andrew!

AC and I also built a Seminoll Saturday night and I put a couple flights on it Sunday morning. The effect the anhedral stab has on pitch stability is unreal, it has a really cool "locked-in" feeling. These are both amazing airplanes. Both excel in certain areas, and both are a great choice!

Both of these are definately a must have.

I'd say as well that by looking at the FF website I think a lot of other people think so too.

These new models are something that Jason and Myself and been working on for quite some time now. They are flying just as well as Bipes and in some regards better.

Why did I have to go broke just when these designs come out. I watch Mikes site almost every day to see whats new and now you guys will all be fly'n yours while Im saving my penny's!
