That's an interesting way that you protected the firewall with what appears to be aluminum heat duct tape.

Can you expand on your method and the advantages.

Due to the large diameter PEFA aluminium silencers, limited space is left in the fuselage "damper box".
The gas tank is right above this box, so fuel quantity is of no influence on the CG. To prevent heat build up, I used aluminium "duct" tape and a "blanket" as used on the fire wall of race/rally cars.

Give me some time . . . . pictures like paintings, say more than a thousands words . . . .

I'll gather pictures, showing details of my build . .

Picture series Decathlon 150 Pilot 40% : GP 176 with PEFA

Quick recap:

Pefa (Germany) silencers with custom manifolds/headers
Extended fuselage "damper box" due to large volume silencers
Intake tube for lowering 3W inlet airfilter and clearing manifold tubes/headers
Fuselage "damper box" thermal isolated
Custom CNC-produced frame to support silencers in "damper box"
Everything fits snug under engine cowl
Original fire wall slightly reinforced
Fire wall / fuselage stringers glued, to support powerful 176cc engine

Picture series Decathlon 150 Pilot 40% : Wheels

Replaced original aluminium rimmed tires (5") with Nona Air wheels 200mm

Reconsidered other options for "home made" air-filled tires ( . . . but . . no option . . .)

For now, consideringen extra set of custom made foam/coated "Tundra Wheels" 300mm (display use and fun-flying)
