chris got red clay on my tires

Got mine started finally.
G-26, 11X/AR9021 DS921's, light kit and (hopefully by Nall) floats after I fly it off wheels.

Got the wings done and the landing gear done so far, getting ready to do the tail and motor today if work isn't too busy.

I was able to get 1.5 flights on mine over the weekend. Had a motor issue that was quickly remedied once in the shop. This plane is going to be a lot of fun this season.

Anyone have a picture of the bottom of a cowl with a stock G-26 installation?

Does anyone think there is technique to float flying cubs?

The wheels pictures are mine, the float one is pictures I took at Nall, though mine will be undergoing the conversion as soon as I get some time on the motor. I flew about 5 tanks through it Sunday when I got back. Not over powered, not a dog with the 26.

This will be my next airplane. I have built 2 super cubs from kit ( full scale ) and this model is an awesome representation. I miss the covering process of full scale fabric

Frank I am beginning to think there is no cure for this disease. I just started on a Sport Cub and I have been looking at the new H9 Decathlon...

Sherman99 told me to get a trailer for the floats next year,all I could do to get the plane in the car,i saw the one with floats,nice flight ,look good even with the BIG boys getting all the looks, don't know if they make a trailer for a prius shagging wagon
