Re: Hangar 9 Pitts 12R "The Beast"
Tell me the heart that he did in the video was "sped up?""
" flight characteristics that blurs the line between 3D and precision aerobatic performance" Hmm... where have I heard that before?? Looks like one heck of a deal.... at that price, I wonder if it will go UP!???? |

I can't wait till I can afford one !! It looks like an awesome plane... and my favorite plane ever is QQ's Yak w/a 100cc in it . Hopefully the release time will be just right for me...
Congratulations QQ, Kevin and family and Horizon !! |

Re: Hangar 9 Pitts 12R "The Beast"
I don't think HH number one goal is to design plane to push their engines! I think they want to have a market for their planes. Now number one 100cc engine is DA, there are over what 7-10K of those engines already in the market! Therefore, there is a greater chance that we have a DA100 on the shelf or wanting to buy one because of their excellent support and performance! Apparently they are also showing the plane with their line of engine Evolution 80GX as well.
I really think they respect their products for what they are rather than making a plane just to be a bait for their other line of product! That's just my thoughts and I could very well be wrong. I know Quique always loves to show his planes in the best way they would perform. Just the way he is. As for the heart video, I am sure they just sped it up given the video was very short! |

Re: Hangar 9 Pitts 12R "The Beast"
I met Que Que yesterday with the beast right behind him and I'm really wanting that to be my first giant plane. He said it would take about 10 minutes or so to assemble it a the field but after I got home I was wondering how the I-Stuts mount.

4 socket head cap screws in to blind nuts each strut I think, same as the Python.
