The gear train becomes a problem when the jitters start to gound out the pin pockets. This has been documented as well. 5-6 flights seems way to fast for this to develop, but it will happen.

Spektrum use standard JR 23 tooth arms. Futaba and Lowtec wont fit.

I'm not kidding hey i got 8411's with over 500 flights on with less slop than the 7955's had after 5 flights.

I do not believe you Beverly, Hitec have some issues but the tg gear train is not one of them, the gear train out of the box does need a lubrication check but that is a QA issue, and not a gear train issue. What servo's do you use now? Come on now, lets not hate for hates sake.

I have a few old jr 8411's and all the rest are futaba.
Titanium gears means nothing i had some titanium drill bits used then once ant threw them in the bin.
there are many grades of titanium.
When items like gears etc are machined they are done to a tolerance wich means not every 1 will be the same some companies allow between +/- 5 to 20 thou, I don't know what tollerance range Hitec use but there will be some with more slop out the box than others, this happens with all products.

So your JR and Futaba servos can come with machined slop too, is this what you are telling me?

What happens is that the plastic case where the locator pin is held wears out because of the jitter. That lets the server gears slightly disengage causing the slop Beverly is seeing. It's not the gears wearing, it's the plastic case.

Yes Bulldog but not after 5 or 6 flights when they are set up correctly, and Beverly also said out of the box.
