I do and don't feel bad.....I need one too!

I'm headed off to the Wall Estate to get some slope soaring in. I'll stop by the field later to see if anyone has toughed it out.

I have always noticed when you bring a kite out you have a tendency to lose the wind! On a day oike today I don't think it would really matter!!hehe!

Ya dang sure do! Me and Neil had a good time! Awesome pics Neal! I need to get my big "Crunchie" down and get it ready fr the slope. The planes that I had out today don't have much control authority for slope flying. I had to add 10 oz. of ballast to the easy glider to get it to act right and about 4 oz. to the Zip. The little zip performed pretty well, but I need to get something with more positive surface control. I guess it's time for me to break out the building board and build this K8-B 2 meter ship.

The orientation of the hill me and Neil were flying at is perfect for any west or east winds. We were flying off of the west face of the hill and the wind was ballistic. Here is a sketch:

ROCK ON! Can't wait to see her fly, Dave! Do I get to tow it up for the maiden?

We need to watch the winds, Dave! Look for east or west winds. We'll go back up to Neils and rock on with it. I am thinking about ordering one of these:

I think a Zagi would be a good one too...something epp that can take some heavy abuse.

Those are some great pics, Neal! Look at that blue sky....

At least Chris got to make good use of the high winds. I kept hoping that the weather man was wrong because I sure wanted to fly today....Oh well, there's always tomorrow.
