WAC 2013
Can't believe there's been absolutely NO comments about this. The World Aerobatic Championships starts on Wed in Texas.

LOL.. Yeah.. I guess someone had to start it. I'm still trying to figure out a way to get down to Sherman, TX next week to spectate. I really want to see the Unknown Free rounds.
Looking forward to Rob Holland kicking tail this go around. I think he's peaked at just the right time and is really ready for the WAC. |

I wanted to go myself to support Debby Rihn Harvey but cant get the time off. This will be her last official competition. Our field is just north of her practice box over Moses lake in Texas City. See her all the time practicing
I do know the AMA trailer will be there as it left from Kingsbury on Sunday. Those who have not seen it will like. It has 4 or 5 Realflight simulators set up on big flat screen monitors. Really cool! |

About 10 years ago we finished the Sherman IMAC contest in time to stop and watch the last four or five flyers do their thing at the WAC there at Grayson County airfield outside of Sherman. It was on our way back so we took an hour or so to watch the show. Very impressive. I couldn't believe the Extra that did a down shark tooth - it made my neck hurt!! The planes looked just like our giant models flying except for the fact that they stayed in "close" and "in the box"!!

videos!! Its a shame at the lack of video footage of IAC sequences from the ground. Lots from inside the A/C but very few from the ground.
