Jkoch,
We have an AW Carbon Cub hanging in the shop..... Nice bird and they fly well but I was kinda dissapointed to see that the whole tail feathers and the whole fuse was sheeted. Not used to that in a Cub.

Hi Guys,

The video should be online in a day or two. I just reviewed what should be the nearly final cut.
I really love flying this thing. Its a blast to fly scale aerobatics!

The goal was as to size it perfectly for a 100cc twin since there are so many out there. I figured that since so many guys were going to the (DA)120 in aerobatic models (me included), there needed to be a perfect home fo all of the 100cc's out there.

DA100 is whats whats in mine in the video.

It will accomodate a 120cc, but the spark caps poke through the sides of the cowl. I included two fiberglass blisters to add to to the cowl if you use a 120 and want to cover the caps.

Since it has a full depth cockpit (seats and all), canisters wont drop right in. However, if you leave out the seats, you can cut openings on the forward formers, add a can mount and use them. Definitely room for them in the fuse.

The Super Decats are on the water by the way, so should be in stock in January.
I also want to thank my buddy Steve Rojecki for sending me tons of detail shots of his full-scale Super Decat. They helped a ton to get the model more accurate to scale. This model is in his trim scheme and N number.

Personally I'm happy that I can finally take mine out in public and fly it! I love flying this thing!

Merry Christmas to All!!!

Why the heck doesnt somebody do a an arf swick taylorcraft sized so a da100 fits in the cowl....built light and with a long wing tube so it would take the stresses of hard flying and cover the thing with fabric.....

Question; Specs say four high torque servo's. Does that imply that the elevator uses only a single servo? Jerry.

Looking at the manual, rudder is one and elevators are 2 and 1 each wing.
Must be a typo but elevators and aileron look to be using 8411.

Nice to hear about the cans Mike! I dont want to use cans, but sound levels are non-negotiable. Well, that is not correct really, it can be as loud as I want, but then I just cant fly it.

I think it looks very nice in the air also. It seems like the mufflers need some extensions or something tho....
