Go EF. You can call them and get an answer. Don't tell Curtis I said that.

EF is a top distributor in the ARF biz.

I hate to be thread troll #2 but I can't help but chuckle at the near unanimous poll results.
I haven't flown either of the two so I'm as useless as it gets. They're both purrty planes

Get whatever comes in stock first
I think EF extra hath most votes based upon it's pre-installed flux capacitor. It's really cool

The 3DHS extra has more cupholders

The EF extra has a roomier seat

The 3DHS extra has more legroom

The EF extra gets better gas mileage

The 3DHS extra fits in compact parking spots better

The EF extra has a built in XM radio and cd player as well as i-gadget support

The 3DHS extra has a built in TV for long travels

The EF extra has a better view for those long safaris

The 3DHS extra has a more easily accessible barf bag slot

Uhhh I could keep going

Me either, but I gotta think the results are skewed a bit by a couple things: the EF 91" is the latest, greatest wiz-bang offering, while the other has been out a couple years, and the customer service seems to be affecting the results as well. From everything I read and hear, they both fly pretty damn awesome

A lot of loyal 3DHS and Extreme Flight guys out there. My 3DHS is a blast to fly(Slick 89"). And I am building a 104" EF now. I can say the the customer service from EF is great. Read Neal the Ace's thread on his build and how EF is replacing the canopy issue for all customers or giving them a $50 credit. Don't get much better than that. The 104 build is going really smooth and easy. I have built a smaller EF plane that was the same. I would say it comes down to which one you think looks better and what one you can get(Replacement part is a plus). Which the way it has looks that would be the EF since they are always getting parts in. I think you'd be happy either way.

To be sort of serious here, the EF should have a 60cc and apparently is a bit harder on servos needing 7950/BLS157 500+oz servos. The 3DHS will be great on a DA-50 or DLE-55 and can use 7955 category servos.

I have had better luck with durability on EF planes and getting ahold of EF is pretty easy. I do get responses from 3DHS via e-mail within 24 hours.

Both airframes are scheduled in each company's next container from the best I can tell.

I am on a anti-extra streak at the moment. Get a Edge.
