thinkin i need 4 of these for my 30% suki....have a airt. 94780 for the rudder....kinda over kill on the rest of the plane.

What Power HDs do you recommend on a 50cc (EF 300 Extra) bird for Rudder, and also which model for Ailerons? I currently have on-hand some 9150s, 090ms, 7150s, 9001s, and some others I cannot think of right now. Getting low on 9150s. Mostly normal flying and some acros - nothing extremely over the top, however I do want a solid servo.

are you asking on the ones you have? Or new ones?
I would say the 1214 would work across the board - but you could do just the 1214th, or 8312 on rudder. 8312s on the rest. 8309s would work (as they are as strong as Hitec 7985s and those have been used in 50cc for a long time) but the 8312s I think are worth the extra cost.

I have a question on the 8309 mg. I recently purchased them and there seems to be some play in them when powered up. It's my first time with Digitals. I was wondering if that's normal. Thanks.

My order of 83xx servos have been delayed for failing QC. They are working on the issue as we speak. They did not go into details about what failed QC however, it was said to be a material issue.
Lenough, I will ask if it was a gear train issue for you. If I were you I would go for 9150's in the bird or the 12XX series servos. PM me for pricing on all 3 options if you would like because the 12XX servo are not really on the site yet. I will be getting the rest of the shipment in except the 83xx series servos are on hold until Power HD fixes the issue. Im glad to see that Power HD is starting to take a proactive aproach to their servo line. I know the DS120 reputation did a lot of harm to their name. |

It's the main shaft that the servo arm sits on. Seems to have some back and forth play.
