So it's called a Rolling Harrier Spin? I been doing it and calling it the Flush, cuz it looks like somthing gettin flushed down the toilet, haha.
Jared, you have to record with Fraps or somthing like that, G3 recordings cannot be converted to viewable video files. |

It's a high-rate rolling circle (one roll to the inside per circle), but on a downward spiral. If you did the roller to the outside, you would get what I have heard to be called "The Washer". I've done them both, but it can be hit or miss sometimes - they are all about timing and throttle management. another fun one is to do it while climbing! You need to have wicked power-to-weight, though. To give you an idea, I do it with a 26.5 pound plane that is on tuned pipes with a DA 100, and it takes all the power it can give.

My ZN-Line would do it descending and then add a bit of power to commit the nose up and it would climb....
I Miss my ZN-Line |

Seems to me to just be left or right rudder and down elevator.........more than that? From just going by the pictures, that's what I can make out

I don't know how John was able to write that article. Hard manuevers are sometimes unexplainable.
The best way I can explain this one is a rolling circle all the way down like BW said. Yes I can do it, but don't ask me about inputs, I don't know them, I just do them lol. |

This manuver is very easy, Just looks hard. Do downline and a full ali spin, then just do a rolling harrier motion fast. If you want more of a spiral, add throttle and slow the roll down as needed. People over estimate this manuver. I'd have to admit, it looks very awesome though
