None, Pilot supplies little screws to button the two together. I replace them with my own 4/40 bolts, bonded washers and blind nuts.

No the little bag of little bolts and nuts are to bolt the metal Pilot servo arms to your round plastic ones. I never use them as I use Secraft or SWB arms. There should be a little bag with about 12-14 little wood screws. There should also be the same amount of little wood square to double up the thickness of the wood where you drill the holes.

Can I do this for the rudder on this air frame or will it be too tail heavy with a 120 on the front?

You could do that, but you probably only need one servo.

Is 430 oz-in enough for the rudder?

My 104" Slick is set-up as the pic shows, but that rudder is huge. I just like to err on the side of caution, thinking that a little more is usually better than not enough. I just don't want to have to stuff my batteries into the motor box to find the cg on the Edge.

I had the exact same issues.

I can assure you the problems are real, albeit not everybody experiences it.

I have switched everything to SAVOX 2270.

I found this very odd, the servos are High Voltage, and touted as the best servo they have

Without any stick inputs, my control surfaces wouldn't jitter, they would jump and deflect 20-30*, constantly.

Use them if you want, but don't use JR equipment or 7.4V Li-Po's, you'll be sorry.

Also, just as a side note, I tried using 6v NIMH battery packs (this was suppose to fix the problem too) without success. Servos still jumped without stick inputs.

I then got the line boosters from Hitec, they didn't do anything to help the problem either.

Believe what you read, here

I had a tail heavy one with one servo in the tail. Had to go pull-pull, and was with an
Engine a little heavier than your da.

That's cute. I remember when my girls were that little and always curious. They are still a huge help.

Thought about that also. The Edge I purchased from Stuart had pull pull installed that was flown with a DA100. I'm using a DA120, and put two servos in the pull pull tray. I will see how it flies, and if I feel that the push pull will be better I will switch it.

Hey I think your set up will work good the way you have it. I had Mark Leseberg fly my Edge in Saint George over the weekend and He said it was really tail heavy so I am going pull pull to get my C-G correct. I don't know how people are getting the correct C-G with the the servo in the tail. I am also running a DLE 111 The heaviest of the motors

Hope you had a great time over there. I'll go next time.
Putting the servo in the tail just makes it easier to 3d and hover, but if you like precision and 3d then the pull pull is the way to go. I've balanced mine with no fuel and it drops to the tail a little.
With a 1/4 tank of fuel in the plane it should be neutral.
