3-3/4" is what I use with both the Dave Brown or Truturn Ultimate 4" spinner.

91"EF extra upgrades

Took out the trusty DA60/RE2 power combo and installed a new DA70 mounted to 2 ES Composites 35 pipes. Also upgraded to a carbon rudder servo tray, new cowl with custom depron ducting, JR DMSS dual battery receiver, and fromeco DC up cricket! Got 5 break in flights on the plane Sunday .....after 150 or so flights......the 91 extra flys better then ever. Want to thank curtis from www.wildthinghobbys.com for the speedy service in suppling the parts for the conversion!

James

The dual pipe install was MUCH easier then on the 91 EF yak due to the larger pipe tunnel!

I ran mine on a gp 88 evo for awhile and the power is great but it is just to much weight for that plane flies better by quite a bit on a 60 and a pipe IMHO.

Thanks! Had some left over stock from Mike Morgan at DW foamies. ...9 mm! Tried to get the ones that EF sells on their website (and privately through gary Hoffman)...bUT they were out of stock.....so we got motivated and made our own! Have garys on my 104 and they work great!

I'm sure it's been talked about on here somewhere but rather than looking back at all the pages I'll ask. I'm going with the DA 70 on j tec mufflers. Should I go with pull pull or push pull on the rudder?

Go direct....push pull setup. It will balance out without any issues.

Extreme Flight 91" Extra EXP Jase Dussia

Hey guys,
We went out to the field on Sunday to get some footage of the 91" Extra. It's one of my favorite airframes. It is powered by the DA-70 spinning the Falcon 24x9 and it is a rocket ship with this combo! I have had this airplane for 2 years, and it's still in pristine shape. Enjoy!
