To get a production 33% kit for a 50cc would be cooler than cool.

In fact I have never seen an eight foot plane powered by anything less than a G-62. And as we all know the power to weight was lacking back in those days. I had one myself.

But maybe with your skills and design factor behind it, it really would be a viable if not super popular combination. Something the average guy could own.

A 33 % Laser is a good platform to do this with, the Laser does not have alot of volume, so it is real easy to make light. My 1/3 scale Lanier Laser weighed in at 15 lbs. 8 ozs. with a DA-50 and flew very well at that weight.
