zippi, imho a 70 twin is not enough for that plane. I have a DA 85 (single cylinder) engine on my Pilot RC 32% Decathlon, which seems like the perfect engine for its narrow cowl. I guess it really depends on whether you want it to just fly around, or hang from the prop.

Original plan was to use a BME 95 cc twin I already have, but I would have needed to make holes in the cowl for the plug caps. Same problem with the DA 70 twin; not sure about the EME 70.

What woody props have you guys had good luck with on the 60? I really like the Vess 24B but they are on back order and vess is not returning questions. Falcon makes a 24x9 that everyone raves about but they don't offer that pitch in wood, I believe it is a 24x8. Don't want the weight or cost of carbon if possible.

I have a Falcon 24-8 wood that is not to bad of prop on the EME60 @ 6850.seems like most of the 24-8 wood props get about the same on the EME60.i tried a NX 24-8 @ 6750,just to low of rpm for me.i did like the Falcon 24-9 @ 6800 after getting use to the slower pull outs after the first 25ft.,then it takes off like a rocket, and I did like the increase in speed.
but I just keep going back to a Xoar 23-8 @ 7300.but I just like the faster pull outs, and speed is very close to the 24-9

I'm in the market for a 60cc engine and I've looked through this forum quite a bit and think that the EME 60 should be a good fit and value, but I've also seen otherwise on some of the other forums. I've had a little experience with a DLE-61 on my father's Extra and it too seems like a pretty solid engine.

Any thoughts or advice???? (P.S. I've had my share of problems with my DLE-35 too, so I understand that the Chineese engines are not necessarily up to the quality of DA, but can't afford to dish out all that cash.)

Can I ask what rpm/elevation, etc you're at? I have the 20x7 Falcon cf on my OS33, and at first didn't like it over the 20x6 Xoar beechwood I had. Leaned the needles just a skosh, and am now pretty happy with it. Getting 7300+ on the stock muffler, which is nice and quiet

In Camrose Alberta Canada not sure of our elevation. And I'm using a dla 32 wrap around Pitts which I'm sure is robbing rpm. 7350 is what I'm getting with the cf prop. My buddie has one in Florida at his vacation home and is seeing 7850 same prop different exhaust http://www.pro-rc.ca/dle-30-eme-35-pitts-style-muffler/ this is the muffler he's using in Florida.
