its all what makes you so cool!! what do I remember most about last huckfest? Chad, Chad's loud ass plane, Chad's crazy fast nelson powered q-40, Chad's shop, Chad, Chad, Chad

Oh yeah, and the stinky crappers.....
Oh yeah, and the crazy good time we had
Oh yeah, and trying to hover Zac's 119 for a photo without killing Ben
Oh yeah, and the awesome bean dip thing that Kent's Wife forced us to eat on the way home
and............Chad's walk of fame back to the pits with his dripping yak

I've got one olympic, your right it isnt bad, just looking for a rock . I put a dpms upper on it just 'cause I had one laying around, shoots real good. I think Z has the upper from it. I picked it up super cheap, guy couldnt get it to feed right. All the DPMS and rocks I've had just work, kindof like a DA

My motto.

I live with open pipe V twins all summer, dirt bikes, and often fly less than a mile from the drag strip. Nevermind the guns. . .

Regarding the cigarette/leaking gas thing. Not my brightest moment. Didn't know it was pissin fuel till it was way too late. Oh wells. If 3 years in Iraq and a tour in Somalia didn't kill me I don't think an RC plane will.

Gnite,

C.

Ps: olympic stuff isn't bad. I worked with a former employee for almost my whole tour in the middle east. Not as popular as others, but the ones I've used shot well enough. If I wanted an AR and the price was right id consider one.

Hey THUNDER DUCK !! FYI The plane Chad flew at the last huck Fest is a Quiky 500 and Nelson Q 500 engine. The Q 40's are much faster, all these were built by Lyle Larson of, California Speed Pro's I need to make Chad a Racer's Helmet like mine LOL !!!

I really doubt he would wear it, but then again if you guys are going to play with these, maybe you should make a couple of hundred for the spectators.

Some bikers say: Loud pipes save lives. Ear plugs are cheap. I've got a YS 45 with a Macs tuned pipe. I get a kick out of the sound, fly what you like and have fun.

The Sundowner has wings again!

Took the 50 out today and shot it. It broke the plastic lawn chair I was sitting in. Snapped the back right off it!
It's definitely pissed off! 33lbs fully dressed with rings/optics.

Came back to the shop to put stuff away and decided to finally finish the wings. They are in paint finally. Just white for now. I printed out some graphics on the plotter for stenciling in the next color(s).

It's no masterpiece, but for a muscle plane (rat rod?) I think it'll do.

Pics will be along again as time allows. My ambition this week is to get all the servos hung.

It would be worth the bruised/dislocated shoulder just to shoot that a couple times!!
