Hi Peter,
You full of confidence today, I can hardly keep any plane of mine in a hover for longer than 10 seconds...LOL I will go with bigger capacity then Thanks. Oh Peter, about the props, can you get me one 28X8 and one 26x10. Let me know what I owe you and I will deposit. The only prob. is, I have no Idea how to drill them when I am in Karibib, should the guys bring them with. Maybe I can do it the night before |

Re: Giants From South Africa
Hi Guys, thanks for the recommendations on batteries. I currently have 2x 2000mah 3S lipos that are unused, could I use them with a regulator, or would that be a waste? I was planning on using a 2400Mah 4.8 sub C pack for ignition, but based on your comments that also sounds like a no-no. For the record, I am running 5 digital servos for control surfaces, standard servo on throttle and a micro servo for choke (lazy). Is 2000mah enough?
I posted my question on SARFLY as well, and someone suggested I should try the new A123 cells. Does one need a special charger for that, I currently use a Swallow charger? Trev, you mentioned I could possible get a regulator for Gary, do you have contact details for him? BTW, my Funtana's canopy has never fallen off, but the tail wheel does so on a regular basis. Does that count towards joining the *ANA club? Cheers Andre |

OK, I have spoken to Trev and Peter. Trev is going to help me disassemble the Lipos and change them to 2 cell packs. I have also spoken to Peter re. a regulator, but he does not have stock. Anyone got a regulator for sale?...Please....
