Planebill Monday is the next dry day maybe

Having been to about 4 or 5 Joe Nall's, including last week, ... its sadly apparent there's almost no REALLY good flying fields in central Arkansas, with the exception of the Farm club's field. Those endlessly open approaches with golf club lawns to land on at Nall just ruins you ....

Try flying a contest or two at Clover Creek. I have a contest there in a few weeks. That will spoil the hell out of you. That being said, if there's room to get in the air and back on the ground it's a great flying field and it's hard to beat the home field.

Wow!, those pics of Clover Creek are certainly impressive! .. simply beautiful. As for the home field, there's certainly a lot I like about it, such as the paved or grass runway option, the huge and open covered pavilion, and most of all the great people/friends to fly with! ... but those close proximity tall trees on both ends ... uh, kinda robs its potential. I know that if I hone my flying skills as I should it wouldn't be much of an issue though.
... I guess I just "love" the look of a long, smooth, unencumbered greased in landing. I could just watch those all day.

you can run bare foot at Nall and no golf divots too, this was going to be my last year at Nall , but thinking never say never
