Thanks for the comments. I'm am satisfied with the engine. We talk about service support but in my 56 years of flying (control line and the RC for the last 30) I've only sent an engine in for service one time. I sent a DA 50 in after a bad crash.

Biggest issue for engines from Europe is in the US we have lots of exhaust options for our China based motors, not for European: HOWEVER, we can make our own.

The Valach is the best engine from design standpoint I have ever owned. It is on par with the best OS and Saito 4 stroke glow engines.

I would buy a 2nd one but, as I stated earlier, is to almost too big for the plane I'm going to use it on. But I love that 32" prop and the sound.

I'll post info when I get it flying in a month or two.

I first had Italian engines when I bought (my dad and I) Rossi 60's in 1960. These were 10cc glow engines and we ran 60% nitro in control line navy carrier. Ran about 18000 RPM; top speed was about 140 mph.

The Valach looks every bit as promising for performance in high torque, scale.

I own an vm 210 and have bin trying to get a new part for my engine but have had no luck so far, i am
actually considering of selling it as a spare part engine.
The engine have bin started, but has never been in the air.
I can not say anything about the quality of the engine since it has only run a few minutes, but the service and support is just absolutely miserable.
Such as the situation is now considering support and service, I can not recommend this engine to anyone unless you have a deep pocket an can by a new engine if you should need a new part.
