Ok.
So I quit smoking on 1/1/07 and have successfully not smoked at all since.
But I have managed to eat everything I can get my hands on.

So the pounds are packing on slowly but surly.. and now I'm going to try and reduce my food intake.

Yesterday.. no problem.. did pretty good... felt hungry but felt like I can do this...

Today.... WTF.

Get my Morning coffee.. the store owner says "Sleep.. you gotta try these muffins I just made they are great.. and hands me a bag of 2 HUGE muffins...
I couldn't be rude so I slap them in my Van and head to work... sipping my coffee and staring at these freaking still warm blue berrys hanging out of them muffins.

Made it about 2 miles and the first muffin disappeared.. not sure what happened there, but it was no longer on my front seat.... made it 5 more miles and the second muffin got eaten... only reason I knew was the crumbs...

Oh well... I can do well the rest of the day... a few muffins was a bad start, but
I can get back at this.

Lunch time comes.. and a co worker plops a freaking Chicken Burrito down on my desk from Chipolte. "I owed ya" and he walks away.

ARRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHhhhh.....

At this point I am hungry, its snowing like mad, and I really do not want to leave for lunch... Oh well... i can do better for dinner.And I slowly suck down 75% of that burrito.


Leave work and go to get my daughter from Pre school.
Tuesdays i pick her up and usually take he to get something to eat.
She wanted Mc Donald's today due to some kid in her class spouting off about the Mc Toy you get with the MC Happy Mc Meal.

So I'm like.. I can do this!! THEy SELL SALADS!! WHOo HOO!!

So I go through the drive through get her the Mc Nugget kids meal.. with apple juice and fresh veggies.

I order a nice salad, with GRILLED chicken.. and the low fat ranch dressing, and a diet coke.

Pull around pay and drive off.

Get home, serve my daughter from her Mc Happy Mc Meal Mc bag, and then open my "salad".. WHICH SOME HOW IS 2 BIG MACS AND 2 LARGE FRIES.

WTF... COME ON... I ORDERED A SALAD... I WANTED TO BE GOOD...

BUT THERE WERE TWO BIG MAC'S EYEBALLING ME.. AND EVERYONE HERE KNOWS THAT SMELL... I GREW WEEK.. AND SUCKED THEM DOWN...

This is when I realized that the world has it in for me.. THE WORLD WANTS ME TO BE FAT. Why else would they mess up and replace a SALAD with FAT FREE DRESSING with two of the worst things you could ever eat!!!

SO I'M GIVING IN... WHY FIGHT MOTHER NATURE

Next time you see me.. DONUTS ON ME!!

feel your pain brother. I need to quit smoking and I already eat like a heard of cows. The worst is I'm hungry for something and I can't figure it out. You know when you have taste for something and you don't know what you want. So I just keep eating everything in search for that perfect food. Damn now I'm leaving my office to beat on the vending machine. Oh well can't beat'm join'm...

MMMMMMM....easy cheese and crackers, that will be your new best friend. Oh well you know you are really fat when you bypass the crackers and suck the cheese straight from the can.

I can easily kill 2 bigmacs if I had too, just couldn't do the double fries also.

There's a steakhouse near where I work. They have the "76 oz steak challenge". If you eat the whole thing, you get it and the rest of your meal for free.

The guys kept trying to get me to do it last year but I wasn't brave enough. Maybe this summer with the proper training.

7am, 10am, 12pm 2pm 5pm and a tiny snack at 7pm.
.. 2000 calories MAX

Here's an action shot.

Normally I would say stay on the straight and narrow. Reward yourself with a quality feast only after completing a Giant scale airplane. For most,this would mean one gorge a year. With you my friend, I'll have to advise feasting after every 4th airplane build. Let's see, at your present rate of prodution that's,,,carry the four,,,start with a zero,,,, 27 food orgys a year.

Ya know Bob.. I thought I would have.. but.. I decided to quit smoking after I had the following experience.

I never smoked in the house or around my kids, and NEVER in the car with anyone from my family... so when I was at home I was an out door smoker. During the summer no big deal.. hit the deck.. look at the moon.. have a cig.

But during the winter.. it was the garage, and COLD.

Well about 3 days before New Years i found myself at 3am (after working on my Dalton) in my boxer shorts and T-shirt standing an a 4" x 4" carpet square (got to keep the feet warm) smoking. I took a step back and kind of said.. What the hell am I doing?!?! If a buddy held a gun to my head and made me stand in a cold garage in my under ware for 5 minutes for no good reason.. I'll beat him senseless... and yet here I am doing Just THAT for a stupid piece of white paper filled with leaves!

That was it.. at that point I was done. I purposely smoked myself sick the next two days and stopped on 12/31/06 at 10 PM.

Not gonna lie to ya.. 1/1 - 1/5 were not fun. Couldn't sleep. Was a crab ass to everyone... Even got the "Drug movie" shakes kind of.. around the 3rd day...

But then it faded and now.. I'm actually starting to hate the smell.

Am I going to miss the Beer and a smoke yea... or smoking while driving on road trips.. yea.. but I had just had it. Sick of it.

So I may be getting FATTER.. but I am smoke free!!
