Thanks for the words... I got 5 flights on the slick this weekend and really am liking the airplane. The YouTube video was the first flight on a 104" slick in the world. I really started to get comfortable with it after the first flight. Mine shows up Wednesday and will get out together right away.

Awesome Andrew! Hey , once you get the bird setup the way you like it and start wringing it out a little.....you gotta come back and give us guys some more videos! Some of us ( Like myself ) have been waiting for this bird for quite some time. If I can't fly one.....I'd sure dig watching you fly one!

That first flight was really impressive. AJ was nailing his snaps, stopping on a dime, and perfectly level.

This has to be a perfect airframe for the new ZDZ 90 or DLE 85 at about 23 or 24 LBS

The ZDZ 90 would fly it good for sure , but you have to remember the "Slick" in general is a really big bird! The 89" slick ( 50cc sized slick ) has the fuse size of a lot of 35% extra's and edges.....it's huge! Now with this new 104" Slick , and the picture of Ben holding it.....that sucker is huge for a 100cc sized aircraft!

Again , i think the 90cc ZDZ would be fine , but i think for some really good 3D performance and IMAC , you are going to want the power of a good 120cc-150cc motor ( speaking of the BME 150LT.....not DA-150 size) OR the DA-120.....both would be a perfect fit. Heck....the older DA-100 , DLE 111 , BME 116 , 3W-106 or 110.....all good matches for this airframe. With a 90cc motor.....you'll be on the bottom off the power range for sure.

I know they say that new ZDZ 90cc is supposed to be good at spinning a 26"-28" prop.....but how fast can it get that prop moving? that's the key right there.

I know i'll end up going with a BME 150LT up front. But i wouldn't hesitate putting a DA-120 up front either.....thinking those would be my two top choices.

....I just just unboxed the 104 in the alternate orange scheme... awesome. The things included as part of the package (not only the stuff in the box, but the stuff already on/in the plane!) is awesome...
