Bluebird BMS621MG Plus-HS

I ordered a set of these from hobbyking to replace a set of hitec 645s on the ailerons of my AW ProX260, was flying low and it dropped a wing and cartwheeled, no damage to frame and wing but busted one of the servos.

After reading around a little bit about bluebird servos and everyone liking them I decided to order a set, well that and the specs of the servo 100oz metal gear and .10 speed, all that for $16.95

I'd bet they will center better than the Hitecs.

WOW!! that is cheap. It is like they are giving them away. IS this for 6 volts only, or can you use 2S?

On the bluebird website it only lists them as 4.8-6v, but they do have other servos that are wide voltage that'll work from 4.8-8.5v.
I've been using hitec for a long time, but if these bluebird work as well and are as reliable as people have been saying then I can see myself starting to use these from now on. The bls-26a are brushless, 4.8-8.5v rated have 368oz of torque and .09 speed at 7.4v have a full aluminum case all for $85... they seem perfect for a 50cc!

All the ones in picture are 4.8-8.5v, both coreless and brushless.

I have about 16 bluebird servos in different planes
They are right at 10 years old and perform flawless
I really like the fact they are compatible with Futaba servo arms , so there are plenty of options

Have a read, yup I'm a bit excited about these servos too, I ran across them when my friend showed them to me 2 years ago. I bought a bunch of 28A's and 35A's, along with 1715, and 2514.

Converted all my planes to them.

Now my 120cc Sukhoi has over 200 flights on it with these servos, and they center like new with no slop. I converted all my planes to HV setup they are amazing!!

Wow, that's nice. I can't do HV because my DA50 and my RCGF50 ignitions are only rated to 6v, but 368oz and .09 sound like enough for me. I'm going to test these in my ProX260 and if they hold up then I'll convert the rest of the servos on my ProX260 and the older 625s I got in my ucando, I don't think they're happy with the trashing they get with a dle20 on the nose of that ucando

I'm actually using an IBEC for ignition and plug it into the power distribution board. The IBEC brings the voltage down to whatever you want. I'm actually running the IBEC at 5.2 volts (or something like that) which is their default and plugged into 8.4 volts.

After using an IBEC, I won't go back to carrying an extra battery. IBECs are awesome, and takes the place of an optical kill switch too.

I use a powerbox from redwing with built in regulator and opti-kill, I jump the power from ch5 to the ign battery in so whatever voltage the servos sees the ignition sees also. But I could put a regulator in between the jump cable.

On my 50cc Yak, I have the same redwing box, becareful with the RCCSKJ Ignition Kill, vibration actually shut off my engine and I chose to bypass that and plugged an IBEC directly into "Channel 5", the IBEC has a step down circuitry to match the RCEXL low voltage ignition.

Ya, my Optical kill on the RCCSKJ box failed after about 30 flights, lucky it was on the ground taxiing out.
