Thanks Bruce; Yea, I just posted here as I figured they would chime in. Going with the Mej 30x13 Evo L. I believe that Brian and Matt both agree on this one. Talked to Donnie this morning and its on the way.

The 30X13L 2 blade will work for you-----just need throttle management on the horizontal lines, but according to Pops I don't know squat.

That's the best in my opinion homie. I have an AirWorld 3-blade 29x12 from my DA-170 you are more than welcome to try out in PSL. Save you $220 and give u a chance to compare after broken in on castor. Ordering my 30x13 Evo L this week for the Punta Gorda contest.

Matt

Joe, since we are dicussing the Biela 28X12-3 I had one on the 170 on cans in the Carden Pro and while I had it the motor pulled well and was quiet. The 170 tossed it and thast was the last Biela I used----as I said earlier I can't seem to be able to keep them from flying away.

You tried safety wiring the bolts to help keep them on?

Yea, that flying away kind of scared me I haven't seen many use the Biela, so why I asked. Thanks for the reply and we will see you at Joe Nall.

I appreciate that Matt; Would love to try it out. I'm going to do my best to be there this weekend. Doubt I will have the 42% ready, but will bring my 33%. I believe both engines are the same bolt pattern. Thanks again.

It sure would be nice if all manufactures provided bolts with the holes drilled in them. Bringing me back to my jet engine days with the USAF. Sure would be safer. I may order some from mcmasters or get my lazy butt up and drill out the ones I have now.

It's how we keep the props on our birds here in the sandbox! But even then it's not a perfect fix

No problem man. I'll be out there if Brian is. Will have the 3.2M Jtec Extra and Pilot Edge. Pretty sure your right and the patterns match.

While you are at it you can do a dozen 6mmX55 for me for the 170.
