Hemostats and an open end wrench on the B&B's. Some sealant as well.
B & B sells a thicker wall bottle and you don't have to use sealant, but with the Figi bottles, etc. I would advise it. They don't come with a fiber washer or such. Hope this helps.

Received my Fortitude Gas Tank last night and like the quality. It is a 3 line system. With the fill/drain tube sticking straight down to bottom of tank, you would need to raise the tail of the plane to retrieve all the fuel when emptying. It also came with the 90 degree fittings mounted on the tank. Did not show that in the pictures. I like!!!!!

I used nylon washers that are used for dental equipment to seal my fittings. I know that's not a typical setup, but you can get them through the various dental supply companies out there. They're made to seal by being compressed between the nut and the surface.
As for holding the fittings, you'll notice that I used 90-degree fittings, so I was able to hold onto the fitting itself while I tightened the nuts.

Here are some pictures of the Fortitude Fuel Tank and my Figi Tank. For my third line, I put a clunk on the end and ran the tygon toward the back of the tank. This way, when I remove fuel at end of flying session, it will remove all of it with this setup. The Fortitude Tanks are now coming with the 90 degree fittings. Nice. You will notice that their 3 line only goes straight down and not toward the back. Just lift the tail up on the plane and should be able to remove all the fuel as well this way.

Nice to see some pics of the Fourtitude tanks finally other than the one on aerographix. Looks like the clunk doesnt quite go far enough back? Or maybe mine is just a bit to close to the back on my Fiji.

They claim that the pickup line expands when sitting in gas. Since I never had a clear tank, don't know any different. There is about 3/4 of an inch from back of bottle.

Ordered some inch and a quarter shrink from McMasters to shrink over the cap on the fiji bottle. Tried to find it locally, but no cigar. Wanted red for a little bling! lol Just want to make sure it does not come loose while flying.

Has anyone seen the festo fitting that you use instead of a fuel dot? Insert the pump filler and it is a leak proof seal and when you remove it, no leaks as well. Not sure about dirt, etc. that could find its way in that hole. Just curious.
