35% Krill Extra330sc

Yup its out! Krill Model have released another AWESOME plane. Gernot has designed it and I've been told by the man himself that its got the same characteristics as its bigger brother. Ive been informed that its got slightly smaller Ailerons than the 41% and has the same construction as the bigger machine.

I plan to have mine flying soon and will cover it with a full build thread complementing the 41% thread.
stay tuned guys! its gonna be one hell of a ride

check it out...

Yep, I saw someone annouced the release of the 35% version about a month ago. Chief Aircraft now has it listed on their site. I am really thinking hard about picking up one of these. I have a DA120, Servos, Smart Fly, and all the other necessary gear to from my 3dhs Extra 330 (crashed) that needs a new frame.

Actually just finished reading through the entire 41% thread and trying to decide which scheme I like best. The red/yellow/black looks very nice and the only one Chief offers. Wonder if I can get a custom scheme or any of the other available schemes from the 41% done up in a 35%?

Also, any idea what the weight of the plane would come in at with the above listed engine with stock muffs or cans? Not real familiar with Krill so wonder if they are typically heavier or lighter than say a Comp Arf or wood plane.

Hi Guys

the 35% has only just been released and Gernot did the test flights last weekend. Ill be running a DLE111 on stock mufflers. The new generation 100cc airframes from krill are ridiculously light! I have had a yak in my hands and its feather light. Ill post up some figures when I get the info....Krill is very flexible with colour swapping on their current schemes.Generally Krill make the planes to order, and being here in europe I guess you get more exposure to the line of schemes apposed to just getting the choice whats in stock at Chief?

Iam hoping to get the same power to weight as my 41% with a DLE111 upfront as my DLE170 is just insane on the 41% Iam flying the Acromasters schedules and my 170 on cans and has more than enough power for the ridiculously long vertical lines required in the sequences.

stay tuned guys....

Might have to get one, I have always liked the plane just wasnt a fan of using a 40% anything for freestyle. I think this plane with the DA 120 will be amazing!
