Well if you can accept 51 years old as a kid then I'm the new one. Found out about this site from a fellow club member and decided to check it out. I have been in R/C since 1985 but have been building Aero models just about as far back as I can remember. As a kid I did the stick and tissue jobs. Being the mean little kid type we would get them all painted pretty and trimed out for long flat flights then put a firecracker or a M-80 (anybody remember those?) in them and watch them blowup in mid air. Did CL for a long time but got tired of going in circles till you puke. Did Free Flight but got tired of fly aways. R/C has by far been the most enjoyable. My main interest is in the intermediate sized glow planes and I'm just starting to play with the electrics. My reflexes are not good enough for all the fancy 3D stuff but I sure like to watch someone that can do it well. Well just wanted to say Hi and you'll see me sign in from time to time.
