i'm about to order one of these but does anyone know if you can get an exhaust flange to silver solder onto existing can/header?

the flange would need to have male and female ends to silver solder it.and i don't know where your going to find a exhaust flange for a Mintor60 with a female end.your probably just better off buying the header for the 60.

i don't think it will fit is the problem. i think mintor made a booboo here with that design or someone will make a few quid if they make one. it is only a matter of time i guess.

oh well no mintor for me :-(

To be honest...I have never even flow a plane with a DLE in it, I am perfectly happy with my Mintor and TMM engines I have in my planes and wouldn't change it. Fly and promote what ya sell...right?

The M60 is defiantly in the same league as DA....maybe even higher since it's a full blooded Italian

ok well put another way, how much of a difference is there from the tmm to the mintor? the claim is 1hp more on paper. if that is the case then that is a good few hundred rpm on the same prop :-)
