hi,I am ready to put a DA 70 in my edge as a replacement of my GP 61,but as in my area the noise is a problem I will have to run it on a canister,so can someone tell me the drop for the 2 in 1 header,I plan to use the MTW TDH 110 canister

Hi guys . First time posting here .

Just got myself extreme flight 88inch edge 540 red/blue/white scheme. Heard alot about this bird. I had 50cc prc yak 54 kit before and absolutely loved it. Due to unfortunate crash i needed to get a new kit so got a chance to come accross this kit. Hope i made the right choice .

I will shift all the stuff on this kit:

-gp61cc
-mks hv 777 tg and rudder 7955tg
-lipos 1800mah for ignition and 3000to3500mah for rx.
-rc jr 731 dsmj with 1-2 satellite recievers.
-control arms 1.75'' magic
-prop will decide if Cf or wood laminated.
-fuel hi octane with shell 2t mineral for break in and later syntetic 2t liqui moli 1:40.



Do share if i need to be prepped for something else.

EF is great and I would guess the EF Edge 540 is no different. I am looking for a used EF 540 88" myself - the red version.

I have two EF planes - a 104 and I have an 88" Extra 300 and it had hundreds upon hundreds of flights on it when I got it. This plane may well be over 1000 or more flights. I re-hinged the plane when I got it and she is still flying after around five years with me! I don't fly this plane all the time as I have other planes, yet I have flown it quite a bit.

My current setup is:
DLE 55 on stock exhaust
Savox servos all around (Not sure the model at the moment - I think 1256 and rudder is 2270)
Tech Aero Ibec (cannot beat these - I use them on all my gassers)
SmartFly dual redundancy pin flag switch
Two TailDragger 2500 A123 packs
JR 921 Receiver

I plan to change the engine on this plane soon to a DA 60 with canister or may wait until I find an EF 88" Edge to put the 60 on. The DLE 55 is a fantastic match for this plane, hovers good, pull out is great, and no real reason to change the engine out. I am just doing it for the fun of it:

Been flying mine for 4 years and that setup is very near to mine, it will work fine. The only thing that might be upgraded is your receiver. The JR731 is not a Bus power receiver and those servos will draw a good bit of power so you might consider a JR831BP, that is what I use and no problems.

In the past I had the EF 88" Extra 300. Crashed it and bought a 89" Slick based on everyone's recommendations. I have a friend that wanted a back up Slick really bad so I sold it to him and got the 88" EF Edge. I still miss my Extra, I don't miss the Slick, and if I crashed the Edge, I'd order another one as soon as possible.

This is a great flying plane and if I could only have one plane, this would be the one in the 50-60cc range.
