Yep, I figured as much. Mine was packed wrong. Not complaining, but its one of a few discrepancies that I have encountered in this plane.

I have built and own several Pilot air frames. This is the first I have seen the hardware being incorrect and missing pieces.

Props
The cables were long enough.
But my headache wasn't the motor box.......should've been!
The elevators are close to the rudder cable; I want 3D throws. If I was to assemble another plane, I would close the gap (outside of the elevators) to give more room for down elevator and rudder at the same time.

Oh same subject: the rudder servo arm needs to be 4 or 3.5 inch off-set arm.

I have to much slack in cables.........................a new arm will fix this!

The 3.5 O.S.rudder arm fixed my rudder issues.
The all up weight is good: (16.3/4)considering the added changes I've made!
This is minus the batteries(16,6)!
Hanger Rash before put in the trailer.

Whats the tail bracing all about? Never seen something like that.

I had to take the outer most hole off the rudder horn on both sides of the rudder, otherwise it interfered with the elevators.

Yes
I did the same thing! ........I had to cross the rudder wires 2! Totally clears the rudder and full down now!

It's not bracing.........if your towing: its only for the newbie not ripping your rudder off! The Tow Line will skip across your rudder when I mess up or the glider makes a mistake!

I'll maiden tomorrow!
If I can I'll show you what the line is for! If I didn't tow, I wouldn't put it on!

I have a friend, that has been bragging on the 36 with the different porting. According to him its the best engine for this plane. I'll get a few pictures today where my set-up is today!
My buddies that pull at Horizon's aero-tow are who told me I needed a guard for the rudder: hope mine work's? the other planes had regular rudders so the skip wire just attached on top of their rudder.

Ya the PTE's are stump pullers for their sizes.

I can imagine how the rudder would get ripped off in a hurry with one like this plane has. Good idea to install a guard.
