The CG on both of my Pilot Edge 37% and 42% are showing tail heavy as well (according to the manuals). Both of my planes fly very neutral for pattern or 3d flying. I have the DA 85/ re-3 tuned pipe combo on the 37% and was a little concerned how far back the CG was, but they are by far the best flying planes I have ever owned for all around flying. I am still moving the CG aft a little bit at a time, and the flying gets better with each move aft CG.

That's good. Down here in Denver it has been cold, windy. Hope it warms up a little. 55 would be good.
You up there with Scott?

Hey guys. My edge has served me well, but it's up for sale since I'm not planning on flying much this year.

It is for local pick up only in nj but I am willing to drive a short distance to help deliver.

Yes mine are stock it's a new DLE 111 and its flush with the bottom of the cowling and it's perfect with the nose cone. you must have your nose cone below the cowling.

How long are the down tubes? Maybe you got some defective ones or something?
