Here is my AP fleet, logo10 and stinger 50 with downlink

I finally have everything setup on both my Gohbee stinger 50 with a helicam solutions mount and my logo 10 with an airfoil t-rex mount. I have both ships setup to use a rangevideo downlink. Pictures or video can be transmitted from my canon A630(stinger 50)or my canon S500(logo 10) to the receiver and displayed on a 7" DVD player screen. I don't know how much I'll use the downlink because I take the pictures solo. Now the weather just has to cooperate with me so I can get some more shots put into my portfolio.

Nice ships.
I never did any testing to see how much a 50 can lift.
Do you know what your weights are with full fuel?
Have you tried putting a weight in place of the camera to see how it autos, just in case?
So many questions.

I'm definitely not doing anything new as far as using a 50 nitro for aerial photography. I'm not sure what the max a 50 can lift. My stinger lifts my setup like its not even there. I know there are guys using heavier equipment than what I'm using. I'll try to get a total weight of my setup tomorrow. If you want more AP info, check out rryder.com or helifreak.com

I weighed my stinger 50 with the camera mount, camera, and all cables. I had just about 1/4 tank of fuel just in the header tank and the entire setup weighed 11 lbs, 3 oz.

Hope this helps.

That's not to bad.
My 50 night ship with all of the lighting that's on it weighs 10lb 4oz, and I 3D with it. It just autos like a Trex.

Hey dd what type of shutter actuator are you using for the SD500? I would love to see some shots from that...because that's the camera I have as a homeuse camera.

Any upclose shots of your shutter actuator?

I have some pics towards the bottom of this thread:

I had this camera originally on my Trex. I did add some small zip ties to help hold the servo down as the servo would occassionally pop up. It works great now.
