I received my stab tube all the way from the Cz To SoCal!! Couldn't believe how quick that was..

Sik scheme raflex Its one of my favorites also the art is cool too.. Gonna check my incidences and adjust to plus one (that's the leading edge of the stab pointing down a degree right??)

No..the leading edge up..+1"
The plane had the tension to ballooning ,thats why positive incidence on stabs needed to keep it level. (to keep the nose down)

My other suggestion is to fly your baby with the standand incidences which are 0" all around and then you make your corrections.

Good luck..

About to pull the trigger on one of these Just wanted to know if you guys order the revoc covers for your extras. I have some spare wing bags and canopy covers and was thinking of using those. What do you guys think?

Ok! My build died for a bit due to life.. So tonite I gave it some mouth to mouth and finalized my wing servo set up, was worried about this step (first time) however managed to handle it well, one word of advice for you rookies, make sure you visualize where the servo and its arm will be so you don't end up with fat ass slots like I did on my inboards, hence the laminated CF to improve esthetics some, (maybe aerodynamics also one would argue) any who

Speaking of wing bags, I ordered some all the way from REVOC to California, literally took a week to get to my house, and the quality is outstanding, once thing I've noiced if you accidentally bang up any of the airframes surface it dents in a bit and you can see it in ceartin lighting , I went with my scheme colors which were are spot on, quality is like a Hugo boss suit x 10, totally worth the 5 hundred buck (wish it was less but) , bags are highly indicated and I'm thinking theyll improve the resale value .. Here's some pix

So I'm slowly getting closer to pulling the trigger. Anybody have concerns about dark colored schemes being affected in some way by heat from sunlight? Shrink covering can wrinkle, but are composite materials or paint vulnerable in any way? I've never noticed any problems on my smaller planes, fiberglass cowls, black paint... all fine....

Comoosite resin planes are basically like the rear bumper on a new car it's flexible yet tough,(much thinner for obvious reasons), paint quality is similar, they say krill paints them in mouldes so I'm assuming the paint is impregnated or chemically bonded to the composite resin.
Be aware; Once you buy one you'll never want a wood monokote plane again!

Officially ordered my Krill earlier this week! All white because I am going to be painting the scheme myself and can't decide on which colors yet.... Chief says mid August.

I'm a little wary of automotive 2k urethane paints, and the need to use an airline respirator. Thinking of using simpler paints.... Acceptable?

Charles

PS I've been emailing Ivo with various questions. He's been very helpful, friendly and responsive.
