Interesting new copy from Hobby City. 50cc gas clone of a DL50 with a CNC'd crank case. Looks good, curious to know what it will perform like ? Got one coming in about a week, will keep you posted.

Ya I saw that but in the blog the guy wrote he admits to "over propping" the motor. I think it had a 22x10 on it... I would like to see what it would do with a 22x8 or Vess 23A so we could compare to a DL-50.. Of course support stateside, I think will be non-existent...

It's not even a clone. These are one of the engines XYZ is producing. They're putting different names on them to make you think they are different. If the quality is as poor as some of the engines they sent Ron in the last batch it will be crap. They are destroying their own industry and are too stupid to realize it. Isn't greed a wonderful thing?

Folk we have proof that the quality started to really sux. That's why Ron dropped them! I'm also getting sick of them coming on the Flying Giants acting like our new best friends. For the guys who buy one check the crank for out of round! But it's harder to check the quality of the bearings. Ron was making them use good bearings from Japan. But I suspect they went back to the crap china bearings.. There doing a simple market flood and then when warranty time comes good luck! Sorry for negativity but my name was on this too! The ones Ron sold where checked, fixed and then sent out. Plus Ron backs his that he sold, this may not be the case now. So I'm not recommending anyone go down this road, way to many if's and know body accountable. Good luck and remember there are better options.

Good info Stang! It's too bad these things happen. It looked like the XYZ could have been a good engine.
I have to give props to you and Al. Both of you did a great job for Ron. Questions were answered right away on these threads and I know both of you put some time in helping to promote them. Sorry it ended this way
