I connected the charged battery provided to the bottom swtch wire but don't have a clue where or how to connect the rest . there's two sets of wire leads coming from the front of plane where do they go? Any help would be appreciated n thanks!!!!!

If I were you, I'd go to your local hobby ship and get some advice, or go to your local flying field

Chris, Here is some info for you.
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...388980&page=11

Go to the first page and read to the end.
I took a look at the manual and if you are a beginner I can see your problem. As Fun boy mentioned a trip to a local R/C field is a good idea. Most clubs have a training program and knowledgeable flyers that can help you out. Sunday is normally a good day to catch people at the field.

Chris, From HH's ad for this airplane, "The Hangar® 9 P-51 Mustang S 8cc gas powered trainer is the beginner solution for club-pilots" When they say club pilots they mean pilots that have help from a club. This airplane is not for a beginner with no support from an experienced R/C flier.

Chris, I'm bumping this page in hopes you have not been able to find it. Unless you respond this page will likely die.1

P51 Mustang 8cc Hangar9 from HHobby Bnf

Well its been a long while since I first posted my issues with the gas 8cc P51 by HH. The usual response by pilots that haven't flown this plane or helped any beginners in their club but I understand the thought. If this guy doesn't have a clue about ignition wires in his plane shouldn't be flying it anyways right? Truth don't really care about comments that are not helpful just the ones who help really. For those that gave me links about the plane thanks! Its a year later been just flying electric planes with the exception of my Hangar 9 Alpha 40 nitro and Great Planes Goldberg J-3 Cub with a 65 Saito four stroke engine. I do belong to a club and this month between cutting the grass and training other pilots on electric planes will get this bird finished and flying. Its no rocket by any means I'm sure but came pretty much all done except wiring it up and binding it to my transmitter. It has As3X and most of my planes have it so understand the pro's and con's of it. Appreciate all the comments especially funboy! lol
