HA! 300ft! Should be a lot of fun! I dont think Im the first one to try it tho... Hopefully it will help the tail heavy problem really aggravating to get that plane balanced with a 60.

Most are balancing the 91" with 60's and tuned pipes and the rudder servo under the hatch. Batteries on the engine box, if I remember correctly.....

I own 2 of these engines. I think it's too big for the plane. This engine has monster power for this size plane. Would it have awesome power. Yes, but the airframe wouldn't last too long using this size motor. It's very smooth at idle and runup but just too strong.

I have ran mine on a EME 60 on a pipe rudder servo up front and lipos right behind the motorbox and it was still tail heavy... Toby, have you owned a 91 Extra from EF? That is one tough plane and its pretty heavy too. I know some guys are running the same combo and some da 85s also...
Started mine for the first time last night and it is smooooth! Smoother then my EME 60 by a ways. I really like it already.

No problem With a GP-88evo on a 91 extra. Have done it And its holding up just fine
I think the plane needs the Power. Its a ''heavy'' plane.

I agree with you completely my EME 60 on a pipe was ok but I always felt like it lacked... so thus the 88! Looking forward to the remaiden a lot! anders, what prop do you run on your setup?

Anybody want to offer a recommendation for the best falcon prop size for GP88evo on large smooth pipe? Guy I bought it from was spinning 27x10 falcon on large proflow can and ripping it.
