I'm just saying that was the maneuver that it decide to happen on. It was from pilot punishment since its maiden / birth. It could have been it's time in a knife edge or loop.
It just happened to be in a pop top.

Not any fault of PAU, I have been beating the snot out of my Edge from day one and took it time and time again.

This plane took the most abuse of any airplane I have ever had.

I go into my pop tops so agressive, every time I can't believe it flys away.
Full throttle, full deflection.
I was showing my dad and he said " I can't believe it doesn't explode "

Not had your coffee yet?

I have a Honda CRV to haul my planes. I need to know if the Edge will fit with the prop towards the front between the front seats. Of course the tail gate has to close without crushing the tail end. I do not need another airplane that has to remove the stabilizer to fit in the car. Also what is the length from the landing gear to the tail? With the rudder to one side should make some difference. Thanks for the help.

69" from the front of the wheel pants to the rear tip of the rudder.

How does the DLE 55 fit?

Hello everyone. I'm researching my next plane and really like the PAU edge. I've got a DLE 55 to go in the plane but I don't see a lot of information on that setup.

For those of you who are flying it with the DLE 55, is there anything special that needs to be done for spacing? Are the stock standoffs enough or is additional wood or bracing needed.

Thanks for the guidance.

Mine is great with the 55 on stock muffler.
I added 1 washer behind each stand off for spinner clearance.
The plane is awesome.
I had the mishap with mine, but I am in the process of building #2 right now.
