Re: Peak Models

With the prices of Peak Models, and from the praise I hear from people who actually own them, I'm really surprised they are not as big or popular as some other Chinese resellers. They have some of the lightest planes I've seen around..

I heard Peak is working on a couple of aerobatic 20cc/65" gas ARF combos for entry level gas enthusiasts.

Your are right fly racer they are working on some aerobatic planes, I beleive there in the 25-30cc range, more on the 30cc side i think, as its starting to become a standard entry level size among manufactures.

I own the 89" Edge 540T w/ DLE-55 from Peak Models bought summer year when it came out. Amazing plane! AUW with my redundant dual 2300 a123 setup is 15.75lbs, on 1485 squares. It's a rocket ship on the 55. Unlimited vertical at less than 1/2 throttle. Quality of the plane is excellent, though I have a carbon gear on order from graphtech. Got the package for $799 shipped to my door on sale.

Here are pics and my full flight report for reference:

I've never had problems accessing their site.

or

http://www.peakmodel.com/index.php

I placed an order for v3 yak on June 18. It arrived June 28. I gotta say, 10 days from the time i hit "submit" to the time it arrived at my door is impressive.

I just stopped bye a few days ago and was helping someone out. The other forum is a bit quiet at the moment. Nothing really challenging going on.

Yes! Eganwp and, I have the same airplane but, I added the canister muffler system for another $65.00 it's well worth it.

Eganwp,

I had the same problem with the LG....it's being worked on now...
