The Beast was a Pitts 12s single-seat version with some custom mods by Bryan and Kevin Kimball I think. Kendall's airplane is a 2-seat Model 12. Unsure on any base 12 mods.

Great question Tom! Unfortunately I don't have a great answer... It's been a strange process. Early on I thought I'd see one that really jumped out at us and declare a winner... I've seen a few that we really like and discussed ending it, then more contributions were posted and made us think the right one may not be here yet. There have been so many cool and creative thought processes discussed and we don't want to jump the gun too early but we don't want to drag it out indefinitely either. I have an idea:
Since the suspense is just killing us, what if you and Sarah picked 10 of your favorite names so far and posted them for all to see. This will also let us know what direction you are leaning in regards to type of name funny, nostalgic, sexy, word play, etc.
That would spark many more ideas..
