[QUOTE=yankphan;1699193]So I noticed you built a battery tray behind the rudder servo.... Mine seems nose heavy, may have to do the same. Also, did you cover up the opening to the firewall ?

After my zdz died and i installed my dle i actually needed to move my batteries foward and now they are in the pipe tunnel.
Yeah i covered up the opening to keep the gas/oil out. keeps the inside clean. I also covered up the pipe tunnel opening.

I needed to place mine towards the rear of the fuse. Balanced prefect before I secured it.

I did not touch the thrust angle... the photo may make it seem like that for some reason.... I built a balsa tray towards the rear...just behind the rudder servo for my a123's and rx.... mine was way nose heavy at wing tube. But I do have a smoke system in it with the smoke pump in the tunnel. The pilot has a bit of weight to it also. It is perfectly balanced now. I have 4 a123's(2 for the rx,1 for ignition, 1 for smoke) and my rx on this tray I made behind my rudder servo...thats how nose heavy it was.
I balanced mine with just a touch over 1/2 tank of fuel and an empty smoke oil tank at a touch forward the wing tube. It flies perfect at a 45 degree inverted incline for my balance test. Flies like its on rails for sure.

Did ya try a little expo ? I have one that the CG is in "The Back seat" and it actually flies great, VERY neutral. Have quiet a bit of expo for the elevator and it is not twitchy at all.
