Build Thread on 42% Challenger II ???
I just got plans for the Miles Reed 42% Challenger II. Has anyone seen a build thread for this plane. This is going to be my first kit build and the instructions are very vague at best. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If it is plans built then always work a few steps ahead prior to adding any glue. The further you can get with out adding glue will help you see how things will line up further in the build process and what small changes you might want to make. Then pull apart and start glueing the pieces.
Miles Reed had a good airplane you should like it. |

I got the plans, cabanes, landing gear and canopy from Dave Desseker. Precision cut kits actually sells a kit that i may buy from them. The price for the kit is $450 and I don't think I could scratch build everything and beat that price considering the price of wood.

A good friend of mine is building a p47 quarter scale. The short kit came from Precision. The quality was pretty good.
That plane he is building is huge. 122" wing. |
