Wing rock

What is the best way to combat wing rock. I have a 30 cc GW MX that has quite of bit of wing rock.
It has a 1022 sq in of wing and weighs 10.5 lbs. Of course I'm using an APC 18/6W prop.
Would a Mezilik 20/6 help any.

you are using too much elevator and tip stalling.

Assuming you are talking about wing rock while in high alpha, there are several things to try:

more / less elevator
experiment with props -proper airflow over the tail is critical
try adding a small amout of up spoileron
try juggling the throttle
adjust CG

Some aircraft will lock in and be rock solid, other airplanes take alot of work to get them steady.
Good luck!

Experiment with AOA, some planes like to be real nose high, some not so much. Also, learn to be quick on the ailerons. You need to knock the high wing down as soon as you THINK its about to come up. If you get behind it it just gets ugly.

The wing rock happens when I try to do elevators or harriers.

Like spoilers- you can mix your radio to bring both ailerons up at the same time, which makes upright harriers a little easier, but it's a bandaid. Also, depending on the airframe your tail could get "blanked out" by the wing in some attitudes. My solution is inverted harriers and quick aileron corrections.

If the plane is a little heavy it can make things worse.

Xactly!! It worked great on my 32% 3W 330S. It was 26#. Once I got the hang of the harrier, I took out the reflex. I just started flying thru the wing rock.

CG plays a huge role. How does the airplane do on a 45 degree upline and then roll inverted?? When you go hands off, does the airplane slightly pull over the top, greatly pull over the top, push over the top, or maintain heading??

All awesome tips here, I'll add one, don't chase the wing rock back and forth and over correct. Sometimes I just hit a little right aiel only, going back and forth makes it look even worse.

True. I usually just correct to one side also. Do it quick enough and you will barely see it rock.

use of rudder will help also, plane set up is paramount. IMHO mixes just spoil people from REALLY flying, again JMO.

I usually just ignore it. I have tried inputs to no avail. On a 45 degree inverted upline it drops ever so gently out of it, if at all.
Inverted flight takes ever so little forward pressure on the elevator stick. I am guessing that I have a neutral cg.
I will try reflexing the ailerons.
