photos PLZ!!!!!

yo, could you m8s send me or to forum site photos of your 2.0m - 2.4m machines. i need photos of engine mountig box and inside fuselage photos of this part. my box is done from the 3-4 mm plywood and it isnt strengthened with laminate, so plz give advices soon i will add photos of my plane!!!!

so, here are photos of my plane, but i am afraid of box that is to weak for 40-50 cc eng like zdz or da, if you think same give advice what to do. model weights without stuff about 4 kg wingspan 2,2 m.

Hey obyvatel,
Here's a pic of my Yak and My Edge with two different ways of securing the firewall. You can put a piece of angle aluminum on the inside and bolt it in. Or you can put it on the out side if it's big enough.

obyvatel,

The thing that concerns me from looking at your pics is that the motor box doesn't seem to be tied into the fuse structure very securely. It looks like it is just edge glued to the first former. I would rather see the sides of the box extend into the fuse a bit and tie into the fuse structure somehow. You could consider extending it so it ties into the wing tube.

As for the firewall- I can't tell from the pictures but it woudln't hurt to use some L brackets as shown in the previous post or to wrap the edges in fiberglass. If you use fiberglass, be sure to round the edges so that the fiberglass goes on smoothly around the corner and provides maximum bonding strength.

motor box mounting - is the same thing that concerns me, maybe i will try to glue some plywood into the box and extend it (like u said) and tie it.
